MDHS Award for Excellence in
Team-Based Research Programs

The DTRG were recognised in November 2020 by being awarded
the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Services Research and Research Training Award for Excellence in
Team-Based Research Programs.

This award recognises an academic and professional team at all levels across the diverse Faculty, and the annual excellence award celebrates UoM staff, not only for what they have achieved, but also for how they have demonstrated the UoM core values of collaboration and teamwork, compassion, respect,
integrity and accountability.

The DTRG were delighted to receive this award for their excellence in working nationally and internationally with and for people living with Type 1 diabetes to improve their health outcomes and for their continued commitment to research despite the challenges of 2020 posed by the Covid 19 pandemic.
