Lesley Robinson, DTRG Research Coordinator and CDE, presents at American Diabetes Association 2023 Scientific Sessions
CDE Lesley Robinson presents at ADA 2023
Lesley’s poster presentation contrasted the physical burden and usage of implanted continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) against those of traditional CGM, which showed a great step forward in easing the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes.
These findings indicated that such devices can be of great benefit to those living with diabetes despite having a more involved application method, having far less obstructive components, being more discreet and being a comparatively longer life device.
We at the D.T.R.G would like to applaud Lesley for her great achievement in becoming the first ever Credentialed Diabetes Educator from the D.T.R.G to present at an International Scientific Conference and for her compassion and dedication , without which this project would not have been possible.
We also acknowledge the broader D.T.R.G team members who were involved in the implementation and completion of this project and our committed participants.
