Katie completed her Registered Nursing qualification at Royal Melbourne Hospital and then moved to The Alfred Hospital. Shortly after completing her grad year, she moved into ICU, completing her Critical Care Course and gaining her Batchelor of Nursing from Deakin University.
Following 10 years at The Alfred Hospital, where she majored in general and trauma intensive care, Katie branched out into Clinical Sales and Clinical Support in the corporate sector managing portfolios as a Territory Manager in the fields of Cardiothoracics, T1DM and Wound Care. Katie is committed to providing optimal clinical outcomes to patients and works collaboratively with her team to achieve ongoing improved outcomes. Katie has recently joined the DTRG team to support and coordinate current research projects in her preferred space of T1DM
