Emma has been a Registered Nurse for 22 years and a Credential Diabetes Educator for 16 years. She is part of the dynamic Diabetes Technology Research Group (DTRG). In her role Emma enjoys educating patients with newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetes and managing complex patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Emma enjoys the challenge of, commencing Insulin Pump therapy, interpreting insulin pump uploads and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) data to then provide advice for pump rates adjustment. Emma has presented abstracts (Oral and Poster presentations) at State and National Conferences and enjoys mentoring junior staff.
