Dr Melissa Lee is an Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and is a Research Fellow and PhD candidate with the University of Melbourne and St Vincent’s Hospital Diabetes Technology Research Group. Her main interest lies in type 1 diabetes and she is passionate about helping those living with type 1 diabetes to improve their quality of life. Her PhD focusses on the development
and application of novel technologies, particularly closed loop insulin delivery systems, and strategies to mitigate hypoglycemia and
restore hypoglycemia awareness.
