Dr Jennifer Ngan presents at EASD 2025
We would like to congratulate Dr Jennifer Ngan for her presentation and posters at EASD 2025 last week. Jennifer presented the preliminary results of the PARTNER study, which details the free-living ketone profiles of individuals with type 1 diabetes as measured by continuous ketone monitors. The results demonstrate that while the majority of adults with type 1 diabetes had stable normal ketone levels, a small proportion had elevated baseline ketone levels. Ongoing research aims to determine the factors that could help predict those with T1D who would be at higher risk of diabetic ketoacidosis.
