Dr Hanna Jones presents at ADC 2025
We would like to congratulate Dr Hanna Jones for her presentations at ADC 2025 this week. Hannah’s presented a study investigating glucose levels in adults with type 1 diabetes attending clinic using automated insulin delivery (AID) and comparing them with those using manual insulin dosing. The results of this study found that there were substantially better metabolic outcomes with AID. AID use was also more prevalent in advantaged individuals, highlighting the ongoing health inequities in diabetes care in Australia. We strongly advocate for equitable AID access based on need rather than financial means.
