Dr Declan Hennessy is a part-time research fellow and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with the University of Melbourne and Diabetes Technology Research Group. Dr Hennessy also holds a lecturing position at Deakin University. Dr Hennessy’s previous research has focused on exercise and cancer, cardiometabolic health, and exercise and mental health. His current research interests include exercise and cancer (prehabilitation) and how diet and exercise can affect people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
