Dr Audrey Kong presents PARTNER case series at IDF 2026

Congratulations to Dr Yee Wen Kong on her presentation at the IDF, ADC and Metabolic Diseases Congress in Melbourne. Dr Kong shared learnings from the PARTNER trial, exploring how continuous ketone monitors (CKMs) may help people living with type 1 diabetes recognise and manage rising ketone levels early, potentially helping prevent diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). In addition, some of the cases demonstrated how SGLT2 inhibitors, a type of diabetes medication that lowers blood glucose but increases the risk of DKA, may be safely used in people living with type 1 diabetes.
