D.T.R.G researcher Giang Dao wins Best Clinical Paper at IDF 2026
We would like to congratulate Giang Dao for being awarded the Early and Mid-Career Researcher publication prize for the 3rd quarter of 2025. Giang’s publication, The Glycemic Impact of Protein Ingestion in People With Type 1 Diabetes, was published in the American Diabetes Association’s prestigious journal Diabetes Care. The publication reviewed the existing literature investigating the impact of protein ingestion on blood glucose in individuals with type 1 diabetes, noting that protein ingesting may be a potential intervention to reduce the risk of night-time or exercise-induced hypoglycemia.
