D.T.R.G Attends the Quality in Diabetes Care Meeting

Recently, D.T.R.G was represented at the Quality in Diabetes Care meeting for Victoria and Tasmania by our D.T.R.G scholarship doctors for 2025, Dr Hanna Catherine Jones, and Dr Hannah Cunningham.

Dr Hanna Catherine Jones presented on the challenges that elite athletes living with type 1 diabetes face while concurrently competing and managing their diabetes care, while Dr Hannah Cunningham presented on the lack of official and up to date guidelines for the continuation of Automated Insulin Delivery systems during inpatient hospital stays.

We would like to congratulate them both for their outstanding presentations, and extend a special commendation to Dr Cunningham for placing first in the competition and winning a spot to present at this years Australasian Diabetes Congress on the Gold Coast.  Congratulations Hanna and Hannah for your wonderful work representing D.T.R.G, and for shining important spotlights on under-researched and underappreciated areas of diabetes care.
