D.T.R.G attends ADA 2025

This week, many of our team members attended the American Diabetes Association’s 2025 annual conference in Chicago, where they had the opportunity to present some of the preliminary findings of the REGENT-1 study.

The REGENT-1 study investigated the feasibility of a novel treatment for type 2 diabetes using a non surgical, day procedure called duodenal mucosal re-celluarization. This procedure aims to regenerate the cells that help to regulate blood sugar in the duodenum, an area at the beginning on the small intestine. The results of the REGENT-1 study were positive, with many participants experiencing a significant improvement in glycaemic control and a significant decrease in blood glucose levels.

D.T.R.G would like to thank the sponsors of this study, Endogenex, for allowing us the privilege of pioneering this exciting new treatment.

The second iteration of the REGENT-1 study, called the ReCET study, is currently recruiting. To learn more about the ReCET study and to register your interest, follow the link here.
