Research Administration Assistant

Amanda serves as a Research Administration Assistant at Diabetes Technology Research Group, where she collaborates with doctors and research coordinators to streamline participant recruitment and study administration processes. Her role includes maintaining DTRG’s online presence across various platforms, ensuring that our research findings are easily accessible to both participants and the wider research community. Additionally, Amanda manages the Insulin Pump Clinic, led by Dr. O’Neal and Dr. Jenkins. In this capacity, she oversees the delivery of top-tier medical assistance to individuals utilizing insulin pump technology for diabetes management.

Beyond her responsibilities at DTRG, Amanda has a background in Psychology and Neuroscience and is currently pursuing further studies to become a Psychologist. She hopes to one day provide support to individuals with chronic health conditions, particularly those affected by diabetes, with a focus on enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.
