Dr. Melissa Lee presented the findings from her study using an Advanced Hybrid Closed-loop System comparing meal-time glucose levels in people with type 1 diabetes at the first ever virtual meeting for the American Diabetes Association in June The study compared the use of Faster-acting insulin aspart (FiAsp)
versus insulin aspart when participants either missed a meal-time bolus
of insulin or delivered the insulin bolus late following meal ingestion.
The results demonstrated that FiAsp may offer advantages over insulin
aspart when people with type 1 diabetes miss a meal bolus.
